AMIDST FRESH FEARS OF COVID-19 SECOND WAVE, CROWD THRONGS NIMC REGISTRATION CENTRE IN LAGOS.

Earlier this morning, a large crowd was sighted at the Alausa division of the National Immigration commission(NIMC).

This is in reaction to the order of the FG mandating the telecom operators to block all SIM cards that are not linked to the NIN.

According to reports, millions of Nigerians do not yet have an NIN, this informed the crowd that thronged the venue of the NIMC in Lagos.

This is in clearcontradiction to the covid-19 precautions of physical distancing, especially in Lagos, which is the epicentre of the pandemic.
